CHESTNUT TREE ANGLING CLUB - RULES
 
ALL ANGLERS MUST HAVE AN UPTO DATE ENVIROMENT AGENCY ROD LICENCE
Make sure you use only the baits allowed at the venue you are fishing
No Fishing more than HALF WAY between your nearest angler
No cupping in with a pole whilst using a rod
Keepnets to be laid out behind you as soon as you arrive at peg. Keepnets to be thrown in 10 mins before whistle. This applies to all venues where we use our own keepnets
No Bungees
No Mugging of fish
No Floating Pole / No Tapping / No splashing with pole tip
Feed pellets must be purchased from the fishery if they state fishery pellets only
No Floating Baits
Barbless Hooks Only Max Size 12
All pole rigs must have a fixed float no shorter than 6" from pole tip
Fish must be landed within 1M of your peg
All rubbish including cigarette ends must be cleared from peg
No loud shouting or swearing
All fish to be handled with care and returned to the water safely
No rolling the fish down keepnets, reach through for handles or swim down the net
MOST importantly is to adhere to the fishery rules you are fishing on the day
 
Anglers who do not adhere to the rules will be warned ONCE, if caught AGAIN, they will no longer be welcome as a member.
